110v 3 phase inverter???

450 Amp welder on a 50 amp supply? It will work on lower amp outputs. If you try and pull 450 amps on the welder it will blow the circuit.

It will probably brown out the welder first.

BTDT on a freelance job I was working. Guy told me they had 120v on tap near by where I needed to work.

They didn’t mention that it was running from across the shop to a 100’ retractable extension cord and that yes, the electricity still has to travel through the whole 100’ roll of wire even though I’m only pulling 15’ of it out.

Had to run out and buy a heavy duty extension cord and billed them for both that and my time.
