I may have asked this in the past, but if I did, I don't recall the "How to".
The file now resides on my PC (not on the web so no URL).

I wish it was as easy as posting a image or a link.

If you're trying to share a file that's on your PC, you can usually use the "Attach" or "Upload" button when making a forum post. Look for a paperclip icon or an "Add File" option in the post editor. Once you click it, you'll be able to browse your computer and select the file to upload. This should make it as easy as posting an image or a link.
