Get the spanner wrench! Tighten the nut down a couple of light taps with the dead blow. Don't over tighten or you will bind the bearings.
Last thing on the list is installing the R8 collet alignment screw. It's a double set screw as shown.
Bend the tab into place with a screw driver and the mallet.
When you finish tightening the spindle lock nut stop where you can line up one of the tabs with a slot on the nut.

Mount the spindle in the vise (with soft jaws or covered in brass like mine.) Bearings on the right side this time.
Time to install the spindle lock nut. Start screwing it on then mount it in the vise with soft jaws. This time bearings on the right side.
Spindle lock washer install line up the tab with the keyway slot.
