I needed to replace my existing TIG welder since it failed. It only delivers 200 amps full current independent of setting  It doesn't matter if I use the torch switch or the foot pedal and I couldn't find any drawaings for it so after inspection for shortenings and burnt components I gave up.

A replacement will come in a week and it is a newer version that I hope work well.

Looks just like an Everlast TIG welder, except it is orange instead of green. How long did it last before it gave up? Hope your new one is better.

It never worked.

Yes it seems it is similar to Everlast, R-tech etc. which are sold under many different brands.

The old regulator has now been replaced with a new and better one. The Elga Optimator regulator has true flow metering and is dampened to eliminate the initial shock flow.

det är en trevlig regulator!
hur har din nya svetsare arbeta?

I traded for a Lincoln Tig because I hate having to hunt down parts....pay me now or pay me later in extra work. Tim

The welding machine works very well, I think the limitation sits behind the torch :bawling:

That seems to be the common limitation with about any welder on the market. It is the "weldor" not the "welder".:roflmao:

I agree though, it does appear to be a very close resemblance to the Everlast inverter TIG.

S: Den ser trevlig ut. Den har litt mere enn min og min er bra. Jag saknar puls, men jeg synes det er greit med flytende sveisesømmer. ikke nødvendigvis bølger...A: Looks good! It has a lithe bit more than mine, but mine is good enough. I miss plus, but it is ok for me to get floating welds without waves.I bought mien on www.svetsshop.se 6000 kroner1000 $
