Well I messed up. If you remember , I salvaged a tread mill motor and with the help of this board I got it running to eventually become a belt grinder. http://www.hobby-machinist.com/threads/treadmill-motor-help-needed.34125/page-2

Well I built the grinder and got it running. I found that the motor was running in the wrong direction. Easy fix thanks to the Board; I swapped the proper wires and the grinder started running in the right direction. Long story short, on putting the wiring in its enclosure something shorted out. I got a large volume of "magic smoke". Needless to say the board is toast. 8^(
Does anyone know where I can find a replacement board that will handle a 2.5hp tread mill motor?

TIA
Randy

I belive thay determond you had a mc60 controller if so serch ebay for MC60 motor controller.

I bought a MC-60 controller on E-Bay for $35, not including shipping. I haven't looked at the listing lately, but I've heard the price has gone up.
I have 2 MC-60's salvaged from treadmills, and they are in use. One happily runs my X2 mill and one is on my sand muller.
I bought the 3d for my mini lathe to use until I could get the lathe controller repaired. I was testing a speed reduction jackshaft and forgot to connect the ground to the lathe. I guess that error was fatal as the MC-60 died. Good thing the OEM lathe controller is on it's way back.

Surplus Sales(I THINK that is the name!),sells many treadmill motors and controllers. I bought my 1 1/4 90 volt DC motor and controller there for my grinder. They don't sell that motor any more, but they do sell treadmill motors, usually used.

Thanks guys. Mine had a MC45. Are the MC45 and MC60's interchangeable? (Basically is the wiring the same?) I heard that the MC60's were more robust.
