Hi all,

I recently picked up a Van Norman 7 1/2" dividing head. I am missing the 38-39-41-42-43-46 plate. If you have an extra, I would be interested in it.

P.S., I have spoken with Stonehands and he doesn't have one.
 
Hi Jason,

My local reseller has several various index plates in a bin for $25 each.
Most are of unmarked origin.
I'd offer to go thru the bin if you like.
They may have different centre hub diameters.

Let me know if you need a specific hub diameter, or if your willing/able to modify it.

PM Stonehands here at HM.
He has some VN plates.
Be specific on the arbor size and bolt hole circle spacing.

Ive already spoken to him, he doesn't have what I need.

The OD is 4.868"
The arbor size is 1.499"
Bolt circle is 1.945"
3 .195" dia holes equally spaced 120 degree apart
Dia of index holes is .112"
.250" thick
The hole numbers are: 38-39-41-42-43-46

There are no markings except the numbers.

Hi Jason,

Sorry for the delay, spent a few days working on my truck. Finally had a chance to go to the tool shop on Sunday. I went thru their bin of index plates. These three match your size requirements(ID, OD, mounting bolt circle), but NOT the hole numbers:

None of the others with different sizes matched the hole numbers you need either.....

I was able to obtain the missing plate via a package deal with a VN 10" dividing head purchase.
