Anybody Own A Jet Jvm-836-1?

A used Jet JVM-836-1 has come up for sale on our local CL. I don't know much about this machine other than it is basically stock. No DRO installed but does have X and Y power feeds. No Z power feed.

Does anyone here own this machine and if so, what has been your experience?

Yeah, I got the manual already and I agree that the price seems a mite high. Things go for stupid prices here because everything has to be shipped in. I wanted to hear what owners have to say before I give the guy a call but thank you for your input.

Oops, missed this thread. Kinda late now, but let me know if you need more info.
 
The mill is still listed on our local CL so it might still be available. I was just wondering what folks thought of it as I am still trying to decide on which mill to get. The big advantage with the Jet is that it is here in Honolulu.

Any input you might have would be greatly appreciated.
 
Just checked - its no longer listed. It was there just last night - guess I'm too late.
