a bit out dated by today's standards , but maybe someone here likes to fiddle with the old stuff and could use it as a reference .
a Cambridge university text book ,... to quote the preface

this volume is intended as an electronic circuit design textbook and reference book .
it begins at a level suitable for those with no previous exposure to electronics and carries
the reader threw to a reasonable degree of proficiency in electronic circuit design .

if it is useful to you or someone you know , its yours for the postage

Amusing to see this referred to as "the old stuff"! To me, "old stuff" refers to Audion tubes, A, B, and C batteries.

I took a look at the 2nd edition (1989) on line though and it looks like there is a lot of useful information included. Well worth the postage. (It can be sent book rate at reduced cost).

I had bought their 2nd edition a few years ago and after watching the interview on Adafruit's YouTube channel with Paul Horowitz I had my wife buy me the 3rd edition for my birthday. Awesome book!

I took a year of electronics in college using that book. I still have it along with the lab guide. Good reference book.

First two years of 'electronics' was tube theory. Most engineers today don't know the difference between class A, AB1, AB2, and B amplifiers but that's ok because unless you are designing audio amplifiers it isn't worth much anymore. Kinda like cursive writing... ;)

Over 20 years, I repaired electronic organs. From early 1950's tubes to solid state and that includes RTLs, TTLs, CMOS. I guess I'm a dinosaur, now Mark
