My tungsten does not ball up like it should on aluminum. I set the welder to AC
Arc Control On 40
AC Balance 2
Max cleaning 7 high frequency on

Pure (green) tungsten?
Arc control "0"
Bal "7-8"
HF "max"
Don't need a ball use 2% lanthanide(blue) or 1 1/2 (gold)
7-10 more penatration
1-4 more cleaning ,hotter tungsten, big ball, torch gets hotter too

Reverse polarity and fire it up on a piece of scrap.It will clean the tungsten of all the crap and make a nice ball.It goes quick a second or two at most.
