Bloody hell, I work for a machine shop that has been in business for over 50 years, we still have drawers full of such tools, I find them interesting, they also have several machines over that age that I use once in a while. Very large powerful machines with ZERO safety features and not a single control lever/knob/wheel has a legible label.
When they ask me to machine a $5000.00 part on one of these old machines it is both frightening and magical at the same time.
I am either fearless or stupid.
