Anybody Else? Poor Service Enco?

I called them. They only issued a refund. I asked them to just send the item I ordered.

I emailed them also. It must be a company policy to save on shipping costs.

This is the photo I sent to them showing the difference.

The big one (correct one) was in a box with the same label as the small one.

The person grabbing the part, if they had any intelligence would have noticed two distinctly different size boxes for the same item.

Before you go saying who does not have any intelligence. Maybe look at the link below. Someone on fleabay has 2 of these things with free shipping for 20 bucks;).

Thank you chips&more! I also ordered a set :eagerness:

Well; just for the humanity of it. I wrote one more time (the fourth contact three emails and one phone call) and made it clear how they wasted so much of my time and effort.

Apparently the error was when the wrong part was sent back with the correct number on the box they thought I was just returning it.

They did not understand that the number on the outside of the box did not match the item on the inside. That they basically sent the wrong item and I just wanted
the correct one.

I still don't understand why they did not send out the correct one by overnight from my first email with the photo of the items showing they are totally different sizes. This is what other companies do.

I had to rig up the rod I was trying to clamp with these items using V blocks and normal clamps. I saw on one of the YouTube Guru's using these clamps and how he put them in the milling machine T slots and put these clamps over the top of them.
The bar resting in the T slot and the rounded part of these clamps on the top of the rod for cutting in key slots. It was a much faster set up.

I waited a long time for the correct clamp to come.

Anyway, they apologized for the error. They are sending out the correct clamps by overnight.

As soon as they get here, I will let you all know.

Got the ones from ebay... I have to say, next time, I need to look at the specs. These are quite big...

How come I never get these promos? Especially the double one like what you have shown with the 20% off AND the free shipping? Enco only seems to send me either free shipping offers or a discount code (for less than the 20% code you listed). I just got one for 10% off, which ain't jack, and then another one for free shipping which says it can't be used with other offers. I bet those codes with "VIP" won't work with just anybody, huh?

Is there a place on Hobby-Machinist where these Enco codes get posted regularly?
