So it just spins on the shaft? Somehow I was imagining a roll pin or some sort of pin.
I got lucky and found a lead screw and all the bits to drive it in my price range. Not that I'll be doing a lot of threading but I might need that feature.
That just leaves the cross slide parts I need, and a thread dial.
