Any Maine Snowbirds Headed South To Florida?

I new to the forum and I hope I am not breaking any rules posting here. I just signed up after buying a Craftsman 12 X 36 lathe. Another forum member offered me a 54" bed, but prefers not to ship it. He is located near Portland, Maine and I was thinking maybe someone here might be headed south and have room for it. I'd gladly pay for gas and time to do so to keep the piece out of the scrap bin. I'm located near Orlando and could drive to wherever you land in Florida to collect the piece. If this is out of line for the forum I will delete as soon as I hear that it is. You might also try posting an ad on craigslist in Portland.

If you don't have any luck here check on the vintage machinery (OWWM ) site. They do what's called rucking? I think that's what it's called. Maybe someone there is headed your way and can help you out.

I posted on a number of forums I am part and signed up for OWWM. Perhaps a kind soul will notice and help me out.
