UPDATE: Still looking. Could be a junk reamer as well.

Looking for a BROKEN or similarly unusable twist drill with a #3 Morse taper. Deal is I'm making a arbor to to fit in my tailstock. The diameter of the unfluted portion of the drill needs to be over one inch and at least 1 1/2 inches long. So rummage around in your junk piles. Send me a message on what you have.

THANKS!

Monday morning I am looking at buying a few 4 morse taper drills for my Champion B&F drill press from a company that is changing some tooling here in Seattle, I will keep My eye open for a drill that might fit your project.

Will a MT3 Dead Center suffice??

Change gear, I appreciate it.
Bill, the material from a dead center would be fine. But I don't think there would be enough length or diameter. The stub I need to machine needs to extend approximately 1 1/2 inches long with a diameter of 1.100. This would be in addition to the # 3 Morse taper that would fit into the tailstock socket.

My junk piles/bins/drawers are endless . Give me a few moments .

First thing I pulled out .

An extended MT3 to MT2 reduction sleeve . You could probably purchase one cheap and machine to suit your needs .

When I need one I just make it bar stock takes about 1/2 hr
If looking to buy try Shars very low cost on tooling.

Thanks for the replies and everyone checking. I didn't consider a extended MT adapter. A drill chuck arbor could work. I have to verify the dimensions though. I dismissed it initially because of the work grinding it (I do have a couple tool post grinders). Plus I dislike grinding on a good tool. Thus the initial request for a big broken twist drill or reamer.
Thanks for helping me think outside the box. Always more than one way to skin the cat!
