This machine was listed as an 11" X 60" metal lathe.
I had a friend pay for it. When i went to pick the lathe up it had grown to a 14" X 96".
This is a lesson about getting more than you bargained for.
One good thing is that none of the lathe gears have even one chip in the teeth.
It came with two 12" chucks and a Rapid tool post. Coolest looking tail stock ever.
This lathe is rust free and was in use two weeks ago. It needs some TLC.
Trade complete for bench top lathe, or South Bend 9A (CL 944Y) all guards, options and or tool post.
Will part out whole machine if someone takes the bed. Located in central south western Ontario Canada.
Image one is a similar Reed lathe. Image two is the actual lathe you get. Image three is the South Bend 9A i want parts for.

Here is the National 4 jaw chuck made by Oneida National Chuck Company.
It measures 14 inches across, not 12 inches. (My mistake).
The 4 jaw chuck has sat unused in a box for the last 15 years (at least).
My shop is too cold to identify the 3 jaw chuck still on the lathe.
The first pic is of the carriage area, showing the Rapid, steady and foot stock.
