Hi...new to the site and a newly purchased Millrite Mill. The mill has a home-made front pulley cover (can only guess what happened to the original). I would like to find a "original style" cast pulley cover (or even a newer square Burke/Powermatic type). Any help/info. would be GREATLY appreciated!!
Thanks!
Terry

Terry, I've got a Powermatic cover. It has the speed change graphics and most of the original paint ( that day-glo green will look great with machine grey ). I also have a complete head assembly minus the motor for a Powermatic. These were all high school parts from the 70's with little use. Let me know if you want it, I assume you would rather find an original.--David

David,
Thanks for your reply.
What do you want for the powermatic cover? And, what do you want for the head assembly?
I'm assuming the cover would fit on my mill. If you have any pictures that would be great also. I'm just north of Washington, Pa.
I'm new to the forum so I don't know if I'm allowed to post my phone or email...but here it is...

Terry, The head assembly I'd like to get $200 for, it was stripped off of a school mill in the early 80's and has been in a storage trailer ever since. Parts show almost no use, I think the machinist program was dropped shortly after these machines were bought. I think the head is a 'pick-up' only, it has the belt cover and rotary switch but no motor. The other belt cover is in almost mint condition, the front data plate is near perfect with 95% of the original green paint with an orange paint inside (could they have picked uglier paint for a mill?). If you just want the cover, send me your address and I'll mail it out. Cover my shipping and a price (cheap) that is fair to you.--David
