Ok, I can play along, this I built for my wife, a 32 pickup
Where I started, dragged in the body parts.
Four years later rolled out, fabrication, construction, body work and paint in the garage, dragged in driven out.
Motor and bed shots, no wood in this one. The truck is driven what it is made for no car shows, color is Peterbilt .
These are personal favorites of the truck, first firing, new owner after a test drive. Discoloring of the headers and side pipes. I would have loved to run them raw..... mother nature would not allow that..

Nice truck. Bet the wife loves it. Looks like you broke the motor in with the headers and pipes on, they get pretty hot that first 1/2 hour of run time. I totally agree on the car show thing. I've entered a few in the past, but not much on sitting in a chair all day. All of mine are built to be drivers. Cheers, Mike

My current project... a '51 Ford F2...
I was going to keep it all original, but the flathead v8 had too many cracks in the block... so now its getting a 302/ AOD, power steering, power disc/drum brakes, and a 9 inch/ 3.70 ratio axle.

Bought this one early this summer and finally got it home in late November. 1955 F-600, 1964 292, 5 speed with .71 OD, PTO and hyd lift on grain bed, 2-speed rear end. Body is pretty straight, no major rust. Oddly, both running boards are rusted thru right in the middle. Maybe where the cow poo got wiped off. Wasn't really looking, but the price was right, and I've been thinking about something to pull a 5th wheel trailer with. Probably go with a modern drive line. Has been suggested to me to buy a school bus at auction and use the drive line, brakes, wheels and tires and such. Will do a little research and see what comes up. Plenty of time to acquire parts and plan it out, as there is a bunch of stuff in line ahead of it. For now it makes a nice yard ornament. Mike
