Large Ball Screw And Rails (in Trash)

Do these have any value? They are kind of large for the typical home shop (inch or so dia and several feet long). One of the companies dumped some stuff in the back parking lot.
 
That's the kind of stuff I put on the shelf until I need it for something. :grin: It will come in handy someday, for something. I'm always finding uses for stuff that has been on the shelf for 20 years.
 
Hmmmm ... Add a suitable frame and some stepper motors, and you have the beginnings of a CNC something-or-other.
 
Even if you have no use for them as ball screws, they, and the rails, will be quality material and could be used for something completely different
