1340gt bad transformer?

I've been doing the 3phase vfd conversion and i put everything back together and wired, minus the motor output.

VFD powers up fine but i am getting nothing from the contactors.

After multimeter testing further and further backwards I am reading 240v directly off the orange terminals on the transformer, but there is no humming and i am getting zero dc reading from the 24/0 terminals on the grey block on the other side.

My transformer and terminal block are a bit different looking vs the PM1340GT basic vfd conversion pdf pics, but still...

The vfd won’t output power to the motor if it doesn’t sense the motor. The motor has to be connected for the vfd to work. Do not put anything between the output of a vfd and the motor. Control the motor from the vfd.

er.. not what i asked or described. I tried to say, in so many words, the motor is not connected. It's just VFD and power to the terminal board right now.

240V reading between 220 and 0 on orange, and zilch dc on grey.

Are you powering the board from the VFD, or a separate power supply? You post is not clear about that.

Not sure I understand. The transformer on the board is supposed to get 240v in? And it is.

The transformer is seemingly not outputting anything, even with verified 240v going in.

See Pic above. I'm testing only the input and output on transformer now and it seems a fail.
 
Not clear about your hookup- transformers are always AC in and AC out
Usually, when a machine is converted to VFD, the existing transformer/contactor system is no longer used
Pushbutton controls need to be rewired to the VFD rather than the contactors in most cases

Oops. I mistyped.

Yes, there is seemingly nothing from the other side, no 24 AC.

Check the resistance of the secondary for an open coil.
 
24 VAC on the secondary, I would double check the voltage at the screw holes on the transformer. Also check the fuse as you may have miswired and shorted it out.
