An early NC machine.. (still running and running well)

When I first started in industrial fluids we provided coolant to shops. I remember seeing NC control running off punch tapes.

That drill at 1:30 looks bent.

I'm dying to know more about this machine. How long have you had it? How did you acquire it and how did you move it? Have the ways needed to be re-scraped in the ~60 years since it was built? If you've written about this elsewhere, I'd love to read all about it

Amorrow posted in #19 some really good links.. The machine has ground ways and tikko bearings on all corners. no metal on metal.

Dad got it out of the junkyard in the mid 80's - built a building, poured concrete and got it running with the original transistor control about 1990

(the linuxcnc convertion happened in the 2010's)
