Anyone ever make a lift for drill press table? need ideas

Tanks OZ I will see if there is any way I can fit it into the head with the vari speed unit inside, pretty tight with that adjustable pulley and belt moving in and out but maybe:thinking:

The counter weight does'nt necessarily have to fit down the hollow column.
It can be sited outside,even inside its own pipe /tube if need be. That can be any size you want it to be.
