boring bar???

I came across this tool in a drawer of a lathe I purchased from a school. It is a boring/threading tool I think. I've searched for cutting tool for it but had not luck. I thought it was a scrap of steel until I cleaned it up a little. Any help would be appreciated.

Yup, that's a boring bar. Looks like it takes 1/4 inch square bits.
 
Here are a couple that I have with the wrench that's used to lock the bit in.

They use normal square bits that you grind to whatever profile you need.

Don't know if you have any machine supply around you but in a pinch harborfreight has a lil kit with a couple size share bits in it if you have one near by
 
I measured it and ordered 3/16 tools for it. Thanks for the help......Harbor freight is close by but we just got buried here on Long Island and I'm not in a big rush.
