Yeah, I talked to them also, just didn't get into that kind of detail. I wanted to buy directly from them as they were so close. I had to deal with a local distributor instead.
 
Yes, I bought thru Elite Metal Tools for both of my new Ellis purchases. I didn't really seriously consider any other saws but I did a lot of digging on drill presses after I discovered theirs was imported.

In the final outcome, I am glad I bought their press - it really is a "hoss".
