I replaced the barrel on my B50 .22 with a un choked 15mm x 600mm blank from gmac in the UK.
The stock barrel was 18”x22”x1/2”

I had to machine to fit the breech and drill for a transfer port8FF726F4-741F-4773-98D5-516352FE69FF.jpeg
I cut the lead with a 7/32 bit using hand power in the lathe and cleaned it up with a rubber sanding point that I sized using sand paper.
I had to make a new barrel band, I used 6061 2”x3/8 bar and after laying it out I drilled and finished both holes with a boring bar in a 4 jaw chuck.A94D0BAC-DDFE-4F25-96ED-283ED548F444.jpeg

I glued the barrel to the breech with blue loctite, I was so excited I never thought about blueing the barrel first.
I quickly set a scope up and took some shots and its definitely an improvement over the old barrel.
I decided to cut the barrel to 19” and thread it to 1/2x20 to match some existing odds and ends I have. I used a die and pressed it into the work with the drill chuck in my tail stock. I did a practice run before I cut the barrel and it went very well.E1A52AD6-6A31-4893-90FD-0A58CBE07C7C.jpeg
I made a thread protector from the cut off, this is the first time I used a knurler.11EAD8E3-C1B2-4441-B479-D2EEEF3E83BF.jpeg
Tomorrow I will cold blue the barrel and maybe paint the barrel band.015E967B-A572-44C8-946F-C0AA69833664.jpeg
Work was done on my Grizzly 0768

"Odds and ends" are good for the neighbors. Nice work, this may be the first air gun rebarrel writeup I've seen here! I have a question. How does a choked barrel work? I have only seen it referenced in air rifles, and I don't know what a choke consists of. Could you enlighten me?

A choke is the reduction of diameter in the last inch of the barrel at the muzzle. Designed to ensure contact between rifling and the projectile, as far as I know.
Shot guns use chokes to control the spread of shot however I saw a vid of a fellow using a rifled choke on a shotgun to increase accuracy of a slug. I dont know if chokes are used in other powder burners.
Many very accurate airguns dont have choked barrels although pellet size becomes more critical. So far this barrel is much more accurate that its predecessor, how much more I have yet to determine.
A choke also can have an effect on muzzle velocity as well but its not my concern.
Of course this is just my amateur opinion.

I didnt bother with the barrel band yet and the bluing didnt turn out as well as Id hoped, I was experimenting and lost count of the number of coats and I was trying to save the lazer etching on the breech for some reason but Im satisfied for now. I will be refinishing the stock eventually and when that happens I will give the blue another go.

Bluing looks good from here! I found the US market version of this rifle being called the Air Arms T200. It has very good reviews, but the barrel is a little short. You certainly fixed that. How's it shoot with the new tube?

This rifle is a Chinese knockoff of a Daystate Huntsman. Larger and heavier than a T200 which I would actually rather have lol. The blueing hasnt shown signs of going brown so it is better than Id thought originally. I havent really had a chance to check it on a bench yet but free hand at 30yds looks good for hunting. The real test is if I can group dimes at 50yds and then out to 100 not that I would be shooting that far as a rule. Im waiting for a new scope to come next week and then get down to business. Thanks for the compliment.
