Quincy vs Champion air compressors

I have a Champion air compressor at my shop .It is a 25 horse 3 phase and puts out 35 cubic feet per min. It is used Monday thru Friday 8 + hours every day No problem so far.I'm Happy Kay

The I-R's are made in India now, they look like crap, rough castings etc. I have an older (US built) 5 HP type 30, great compressor. Been using it for about 20 years now with no problems. My first choice is the old Quincy with pressure lube, I have several of them that I plan on rebuilding. Champion is also a good choice, and they also make a pressure lube model, I think its a PL series. Beware of the Kellogs, made in China now. The Saylor Beale is still US made, last I heard.
