I made a couple tool holders and the insert that I used has this nomenclature, '40-60° double countersink'.
I assume the 60° is the taper of the screw but what does the 40 and double countersink mean?
If I were to guess the screw has two tapers, a 40° and 60°?

Can you give us a little more information. What insert are you using? Maybe a part number for the screw. Or whose screw are you trying to use.

CCGT 09T304NSC & APKT1604 ME14 F40M

Those are the inserts I'd like to get screws for.

I talked to MSC and they said the screw is for the holder not the insert. ?
Ah, okay. Guess that makes sense.
