Has anyone ever seen a tool to help connect hydraulic hose quick connectors?

Have a older friend that just doesn’t have the strength to push them together.

Thinking of a C-Clamp Vise-Grip, cutting them off at the last bend and welding forked tab

On to grab the thread just behind the connector!

Is there such a tool out there on the market?

Thanks
Few more years and I may need one too!

Have not seen a tool on the market for that.
Some times they have back pressure. Try wrapping a rag around the end and push the ball in to relieve pressure. They should push in quite easy if there is no pressure.

Pressure is off of both ends. Cold weather and not in easiest location on skid steer. Needs help connecting!

Clamp would be slow, vise grip probably doesn't have enough travel.

I'm thinking forked leaver with hinged piece with a fork on it also. Each fork would go behind a coupler and then the leaver would give mechanical advantage to bring them to connection.

Depending on how often he needs to make/break the connection might be better off changing it out for, 1) an easier to operate, disconnect, or 2) moving the disconnect to a more accessible point. If its in an awkward spot then getting a tool in there might be just as awkward

Cheers Phil
