Clausing/Kondia KV Motor

I've released the magic smoke out of my motor. Now to make a decision to rebuild or replace. It's a 3hp made in Spain. Are there any other motors that are direct replacements? Such as a Bridgeport? Are there any dealers in used machines that I can contact that may have a motor? When I get some muscle to help remove it, I'll check on rebuild price.

A picture of the motor data plate and driving shaft would be helpful.

Need to disassemble and determine if motor housing is a standard "C-Face", or something special.
I think 2.2 KW is 3HP, a good size motor, so may be worth rewinding.
A generic 3HP motor is likely to be much taller.

If you remove that motor, it looks as though a Bridgeport motor might mount up.
