Install the snap ring like this. This will help keep the Key from coming out if it loosens up. Mine was lodged elsewhere in the gear housing.

This is after the bearing sliding housing is installed.
After installing a new bearing into the Bearing sliding housing it's time to install it. Simply press it into place on the Vari-disc hub.

Install the snap ring on the spindle pulley hub.
Snap ring that holds the stationary vari-disc pulley in place.
Press the spindle pulley hub into the stationary vari-disc pulley.

Also on mine this snap ring was unseated. I think this caused a lot of the damage in my head...timing pulley etc etc.
