Pressing the bottom set of bearings off.. Some people use a bearing separator below the dirt shield to do this.
The spindle with the dirt shield and lower bearing. Just after the spacers and top bearing from the set came off.
Top of bearing set with inner bearing spacer and outer spacer.
This is about how far you have to press before the top bearing and spacers will come off.

I did not use a bearing separator under the dirt shield since I was replacing the bearings. After pulling mine I can't see that the way I did it caused any damage.
