Removing the cooling fan from the top of the motor.
My attempts to remove the fixed motor pulley...I want to make note here that taping the key is a bad idea. It will lock it in tight!
These are the mounting screws for the fan shroud. They have rubber gromets to keep it from vibrating and making noise.

Mine was broken...The head of the motor had been smashed by something. The fan cover housing had been removed also and was loose when I bought the machine.
