This is the lock nut socket I used. I had to modify mine to fit the slots in the nut. As the "teeth" on the socket were too thick.
You'll have to hold the bull gear in a way that allows you to tighten the lock nut. I clamped down with a c-clamp and a chunk of wood to the bench.
The socket fits pretty nicely into the sleeve after modifying the "teeth"
