You have to clean out all of the glue from the old install. Using a dremmel = good idea. Using a wire disk...poor mine didn't work.

Use a dremmel with a small sanding "drum" on it. I didn't get a picture with one that worked. Cleaning out the keyways should be done using an edge of a flat screw driver. For the center recess ring use a dental type pick. HBF has these. If you do not clean properly you will be doing this again!
