Pass Around 2015

As already mentioned, the boxes are both numbered. Think of the numbers more as names or identifiers rather than which box was first. We could have called them A and B, or Red and Blue, or Fred and Mildred, it didn't really matter. We simply had to find a way to identify and name them, and "One" and "Two" became the method of choice. The numbers on them have nothing to do with which box was created first, but it is a bit complicated as you will soon see.

Liberal Arts, the box that you created and then sent out to me ended up being labeled box 1, so you have it correct. The reason for this occurring is as follows in a step by step fashion:
1. The original box went missing.
2. Liberal Arts Garage created a new box and sent it to the next person on the list (me).
3. The list of participants kept growing and the decision was made to divide the list in two and start a second box which Autonoz was going to do.
4. Since there were now going to be two boxes, I labeled the box that I had as "Box 1" because it was being sent to the participants on the first list.
5. The original box reappeared and was send back to Autonoz.
6. Autonoz repacked the original box and sent it out to the next participant on the second list as "Box 2" since we already had a box labeled "Box 1".

No matter how we would have done it, there would have been some confusion, however it may have been a little less confusing if we had renamed the lists instead of the boxes. Either way, questions would have been raised from time to time no matter what. It was all a result of the timing of the reappearance of the original box.

If we had painted the boxes different colors instead of naming them, it would have been even worse. If the original box had been painted red, then disappeared, it's new replacement would have been painted red also. When the original reappeared we would have had to repaint it a different color like blue because the 'new' red box was already on its way down the original red list. The resulting confusion about which box was first would still have occurred.

My apologies to everyone for any confusion that this has caused or will create in the future. The boxes are both plainly marked and as long as the proper list is followed based on the number on the box, everything will be fine.

Received box 1 today. Full of goodies. Box in good condition, will get it out the end of week.

Just got word from JPFabricator that box 2 is on its way to me. I'll be away for the next week so it should be here when I get back on the 30th.
