I was looking last week at oversize BXA tool holders, ones than can hold a 3/4" shank tool, where the standard BXA holders have a capacity for maximum 5/8" shanks.

On Ebay I saw that All Industrial Tool Supply had the second best prices for them, at $16.95 each plus $6.50 freight (each?), $0.15 more than Shars pricing, each, with shipping.

I had opened an account with All Industrial some months before, but had poor luck finding anything interesting in their online catalogue.

Their online catalogue only shows Aloris QCTP tooling, and gives no clue that they have great deals on imports as well. It occurred to me that I should call them and see what kind of deal I could make by ordering direct from All Industrial.

So, I called them this morning. I told them my story, gave them their part number, told them I was interested in the best possible deal on three of them, delivered, and the friendly customer service guy said after about five seconds looking at it "Well, the best I can do for you is $13.95 each plus $6.50 shipping for the three. I said yes, and I had a paid invoice in my inbox in a couple minutes.

So, I saved $9.00 and quite possibly some freight by ordering direct from All Industrial. It is not that I want to keep eBay from getting their cut (and if you believe that, I have a bridge for sale...) I will respond to this thread again after they arrive and I check them out.

I tried to look at their eBay store, but there really is no such thing. They apparently have another company doing fulfillment for them on the eBay orders. They do have more things for sale on eBay, just difficult for me to find them all.
FYI.

I buy from All Industral also. Good people & quick fullfilment. I buy all my ER collets from them & purchased 2 Gator chucks from them. About to order another chuck from them. Their website doesn't specify & I don't know the exact amount but they give you free shipping if you purchase over $50 or $100.

It was really nice to talk to someone who could and would and did actually make a deal with me in real time, which was really refreshing compared to constantly bouncing off the corporate veil...

Their website sucks, but I am not going to hold that against them. They actually understand how to deal with a customer, a lost art these days. Take it from someone who has actually been there, done that, for decades...

i have purchased carbide endmills and clone AXA toolholders from All Industrial-
fast shipping, great prices, very good vendor!

Mike, have you figured out how to figure what they really have for sale?

They have a 1500+ page catalog viewable online as well as a monthly sale flyer. It's a pain in the ass to view the catalog online & as you know not much of their inventory is cataloged on their website.

They have been saying their website is going to be updated so perhaps they are working on it but it has been quite sometime that they have been saying the website will change. Not an easy job to catalog everything if that's what they are doing.

Perhaps you can call to order a paper catalog, i have never noticed a way to order one online. IIRC they do include their sales flyer with every shipped order.

Their on-line catalog looks very similar to a Travers Tool catalog. I wonder?
