All Industrial Tool Supply

They have a 1500+ page catalog viewable online as well as a monthly sale flyer. It's a pain in the ass to view the catalog online & as you know not much of their inventory is cataloged on their website.

They have been saying their website is going to be updated so perhaps they are working on it but it has been quite sometime that they have been saying the website will change. Not an easy job to catalog everything if that's what they are doing.

Perhaps you can call to order a paper catalog, i have never noticed a way to order one online. IIRC they do include their sales flyer with every shipped order.

You can download the entire catalog if you want. From the "on-line catalog", look at the tool bar on the bottom and there is an icon with an arrow pointing down. Click on it and it will download the entire catalog as a pdf. Note that for the impatient. It is half a gig so "its going to take a while" applies.

You might also try a PowerShell command [or wget if you are on ?nix]. Probably will not be any faster but it save the browser from having to start Adobe to display the pdf. The url is pretty straight forward ... "http://allindustrial.com/catalogs/2016/general_catalog.pdf".

But are we talking about a big catalogue like MSC and Travers have, that has no relation to current prices or availability? I find those catalogues fairly worthless except as an research aid for finding what might have been available in the past somewhere and a list price (or higher) that they can use for a comparison to their current "sale" price.

Every once in a while I have seen a screaming good deal on name brand carbide end mills on ebay from All Industrial. I have been happy with my ebay buys from them, but I shop carefully and do not trust them blindly to always have good prices.

Right on, Doubleeboy. It pays to be alert and to keep your finger on the pulse. Stuff changes ever more quickly and we need to keep track of what is going on. Thank God for the internet, which makes it so much easier to do. One of the realities of our times is that we must never be complacent and must keep looking for terrain changes -- loyalty and trustworthiness are sadly becoming archaic words in our lives. Keeping up with change continues to get more difficult, even as the tools get better and better. Forums like this are really helpful, none of us have the time and energy to learn everything on our own. We still need to comprehend and verify, though...

OK, feedback time. I ordered the three oversize tool holders on Friday morning, they showed up in a USPS flat rate envelope today (Monday, next working day.) The tool holders were sealed in individual sealed plastic bags which were in unmarked individual cardboard boxes. The holders are branded Hess, and have a very nice fit and finish. All the screws work smoothly, as they should, and fit the hex keys properly (metric.) They fit my tool post just like my other holders do, tightening at the same handle clock position. This transaction went completely smoothly, like Enco used to do, and unlike some other companies who never get it right. I am very pleased and satisfied with this first transaction with All Industrial Supply. Disclaimer: This is my first order from All Industrial, and I have no connection with them beyond being completely happy with my first purchase there...
FYI.

Didn't say it was worth anything. Just commented on how to get the electronic version that is easier to use [IMHO] than the online version. Nothing more, nothing less.

Thanks, arvidj. I will download it and take a look at it and see if it is useful to me. I appreciate the help.

Their on-line catalog looks very similar to a Travers Tool catalog. I wonder?

Tom S.
Their big catalogue, which I am trying to download now, has TTC tools, among others. As near as I know, TTC stands for Travers Tool Co., their Asian tool line...

That's interesting....similar, no. I just opened up my Travers 2017/18 Master Catalog & it matches exactly, down the page layout, photos, prices & part numbers. But the Travers catalog has a couple of hundred more pages.

I downloaded the catalog, and the differences are that it is missing a cover and table of contents, and only has the Spanish index in the back, English is missing. It is also the 2016 catalog. Other than that, it sure appears to be the Travers Catalog...
