I picked up this machine for $600. Had a new single phase motor installed (kind of), blade welder, and even a blade. Got it home and found out it cuts crooked as hell. The top blade guide was broke and brazed and warped. The blade tracked either on the inside of the band wheels or on the outside.

I started by cleaning up internally and checking electronics. Then I found the gear box was messed up. Rebuilt it with all new bearings. Then made a new upper blade guide.

I then turned the band wheels on my lathe and slung rubber everywhere. They trued up nice.

The blade welder was about a 4 hour learning session but I have it down now!
