Unfortunately one would have to pay 8.1% sales tax if you pick it up at their store in Mo so that likely offsets a good portion if not all of the shipping costs.
and aboot $1000 in gas for me (I get 16 mpg w/o towing) but that would be an awesome experience...a tool store on acid. We HAD a TOOLKING just a couple miles from my house....guess they ALL went under. Bummer.

I've been to the Griz store in Springfield many times. Couple of hours drive for me. It's a very cool place.

Really, really want to get a bigger lathe but the tariffs are making me wait and continue to search for something used.
 
Rats, I was looking at the 727 without the stand. Sorry for false hope. Too many options... try to get the best price and you can end up going mad. However, I don't think the tariffs are going away anytime soon, and may get worse. Some dealers probably won't drop prices after they're gone, anyway, although Matt assures me PM will and hints that Grizzly won't. Time will tell...
