Tonight is the end of my week . Taking Friday and Sat night off . Be spending 5 straight days and nights in the garage ( if I don't head to the mountains ) I need to get those vfds ordered . Need to clean up as usual . Need to move things back out of the basement . Need to cut both lawns . Need to change a set of rotors on the Honda . Ah heck , I may as well come into work . :rolleyes:
 
I had this little suitcase generator for several years. Recently I decided to get it up and running, after letting a local small engine shop attempt to fix it I decided to do it my self.

Today i did some more cleaning of the big garage, took a load to the scrapyard. After that i got under it and mounted the transfer case, the mount is hard to mount because of the 5 rubber mounts but feels really solid, the wet and dirty cardboard made this job more miserable but i got it done, i'll be removing all the cardboard before i start on the exhaust. Then i moved on the inside, i clean and applied insulation in the fuel tank hole, i'm using tar style insulation and heating it with blow gun and torch then rolling it with a small roller. After i insolated it i replaced the rubber fuel line, also the filler neck rubber hoses installed new stainless hose clamps, then i installed the cover plate this being a lada it is made from thick steel, i used all new bolts to secure it. This starting part of the fuel system is finished i'll need to start insulating the inside, it is taking a lot more time than i thought.

Some projects that I’m working on. A BXA boring bar holder, HF indicator stand camera mount, and a HF saw fixture to saw up small rectangular stock. I have some large pieces saves a lot of milling

My back yard is rather large, and the front has, among other things, my wheelchair ramp going up better than six feet. Lots of grass... ... My idea of groundskeeping is to hook up a bush hog and mow it a couple or three times a season. When I remarried some thirty years ago, she brought lots of flowers, rose bushes, small trees, that sort of thing. She laid down the law about grounds keeping before we were married, no bush hogging. She has handled the grounds keeping since, all I do is some maintenance on her machines.
 
Last two days i've been working hard in the big garage, Yesterday i spent the entire evening cleaning i removed all the damp cardboard cut it up and packed it for throwing away, also arranged all my tools and picked up lots of garbage around the little niva, at this point i could walk and work around the Niva. Today i started with the exhaust, is easier to move or change the route on the LPG line then to change the exhaust, so i wanted to have it in place before i run the LPG line. For the exhaust is used mainly old stainless pieces i had laying around at the header i run 63mm pipe to the first muffler whom i placed under the back seat and then i stopped, the back muffler will be a bit more difficult because of the long travel suspension.

GoceKU, You are making good progress on the little Niva. Looks great.
