I finally took the time to make a backsplash for behind my Logan 11" Lathe. I mounted it up in primer figuring I would have at least some paint on the surface that would keep it from rusting, and still allow me to weld some brackets and pins on it then finish paint when it is done.
So now I'm kind of stuck. I know that I want my AXA tool holders mounted on the "wall." Also want the LOO spanner mounted in good position.
Anybody have any good ideas, pictures of what they have done? Always good for me to get ideas before I charge ahead with my own ideas.
My backsplash is 70" long and 29" tall with a flange bent on the bottom so that runoff will go into the drip pan rather than the wall behind the lathe.
I plan to add a top that will come out to the edge of the lathe drip tray. There I plan on a light.
