OK, this is all I can do today. My friends called from the airport and will be here in 30 minutes. I changed the diameter and threads at the back end. I dropped from 3/4-10 to 1/2-13. It is obvious that it looks better. It will also make threading the pulley easier. That big 3/4 inch jam nut was ugly. After the 25mmX1.5 threads are cut on the nose the shaft goes to heat treat. Then I grind the bearing diameters here.

Where did you find them the best I could find was $8.88 each at Abe Books? I've got a few of the series coming I think about 10 total but if I can get some of the others cheaper!!
