Great MT2 blanks for my 8520

Not bad, I don't have experience from the UK so to me it was reasonable. When I look at some on ebay charging big $$ for a medium fixed rate box, my blood boils, so this was reasonable.

Subtotal: £21.00
Shipping & Handling: £15.60
Total: £36.60

That shipping's pretty reasonable for crossing the pond, vanilla postage on it within the UK is about £7 - 8 for the other side of the road :)

I've found Chronos not the cheapest, but the quality is a cut above the others importing from China and India (cough cough, the green and yellow ones...)

Ran into a little problem. Not with the blanks, but how I cut them. My runout is under 1 thou in the mill. But my lathe has a MT3, so I need to use an adapter. But with the adapter I am consistently getting 3 thou runnout. I tried clocking it different, it still out. I could order a new adapter, but it too could be out. I could try grinding the adapter, but my grinder will not reach in, and it only accepts 1/8 shank points. It's an old Themac.
So looking for some advice that would work for me.

Can you mark all of the pieces so they can always be but together in the same position?

AND? the blanks are not the problem. The problem is the adapter.
Sorry, maybe not getting all of your problem? How about cutting the blanks on the mill? So then, you are setting up the milling machine to cut like a lathe. And cut the blanks on the milling machine for the lathe?
