How to buy a shaper?

I now have a purple and Kubota orange shaper.

Wow, is that what you were shooting for or it took those colors to make the color you wanted? What pops into my head is something like the old multi color guitar picks we called "Clown Barf" color. I know colors are not always represented like what they really look like with digital cameras so pics don't always do justice. I kinda like the old blue green Enco color my RF30 is. I'm not big on grey or white either. I do like the green that's what I think of as the old British racing green my 7b was painted. I'd go with that again if I decided to paint something.

It had been blue and orange with the guards and handle orange. Rather than waste a non-returnable quart that they mixed, it went on.

I rebuilt a little Bainbridge bandsaw , a very early, 50s?? ,made in Michigan 4x6, for one of my sons. It was green so I looked at what Tremclad had, it was either Hunter green or John Deere. That JD green made the pale purple look conservative .
