Boring Bar Insert Screws

Unless it is a misprint on the side of the holders but i even asked the company and theysaid it was that size. Its the 3/8 accusize lathe set from amazon.

That could be possible ill have to look tonight.

Splat:

I found out why you cannot find the screws any longer... They are obsolete. The new Material Master # is 1260087. Price jumped to $1.37 each and as you claimed, the new min. quantity is 20 pc. More than a lifetime supply. I would send you some hardware for this, but I don't have any for the Circle tools.

Good Luck
Best Regards, Gary

Thanks Gary. I'll take a look around. I have a feeling it'll still be the 20-pack or greater for them.

So what size do you need Splat?

Technically, I need one QC15 and one CC11. Thank you.

You guys are great. One member graciously sent me a dozen screws he thought were the ones I needed but unfortunately weren't. I actually found a site earlier today, www.bscsource.com, that I was able to buy 5 each of the #3-48 (QC-15 for Q-series bars) and #1-72 (CC-11 for C-series bars). BSCsource's skus for them are 1963865 and 1260087, which are actually Kennametal's numbers for them since these are Kennametal screws. We shall see if I get them or if they need to be ordered in multiples like everywhere else. I did get an order confirmation, and shipping is supposedly free with no minimum so we'll see what happens.

Forgot to report back. I got my screws last Friday, which was within 24hours of ordering them from Bscsource! I was pretty amazed. I ordered 5 each of the ones I needed and they are the correct ones. Shipping was free but I couldn't believe they shipped them via UPS. So if anyone needs insert screws and don't want to order 20 (that's the lowest minimum I found on the Web) then check out Bscsource.com.
