VN Vn No 10 Mill On Ebay

The table has been installed and acme bushings adjusted to take up slop for backlash.

Over the past week, I was able to move the mill into my workshop. What a hassle to lift the unit over the small door frame. Throughout the process I replaced many of the flat head bolts with allen bolts, grease/oiled necessary components, and adjusted the lead screws. Currently waiting for a new motor to arrive so I can hopefully turn the machine on this weekend.

Overall the recondition wasn't as too bad, and taught me a lot about the design and capability of the machine. My first project on the mill will be to finish my Ducati 916 engine cutaway.

Yesterday, I finally wired the machine with the new Century V100 motor. Took a while for me to convince myself I had the correct hook ups for the wires. Below is a link to a short video of the machine running. Very impressed with how quiet and smooth the machine operates. Can't wait to start cutting metal.

I sourced some xring o-rings from mcmaster. They have held up over the past two years.
