Hold Down Clamp

The aluminum that I have is plate, not sheet. It is actually pretty hard and not that easy to bend. But I tend to agree that .050 is probably too thin. I like your clamps and will make one when I get a chance.

Hi Mick,

The minimum that I would use, in steel, is 1/8" or 3 mm. 50 thou in aluminum will bend and collapse too easily.
