OK, so I was buying some drill bits and a chuck from someone on Facebook Marketplace, and he brought along this boring head "kit" (although they didn't know that the parts all went together.
No markings!
Stainless. Uses a screw head (for adjusting) that I've never seen. It's hex, but tapered. Starts out at 3mm, gets larger (close to 3.75mm) at the bottom.
There's a cover that you ran rotate to cover/protect the adjustment screw. (at least that's my best guess)
I'm guessing this boring head kit came with a custom tool for adjusting.
Anyone seen a boring head like this? I was told that their parents worked at a Russian arms factory from the 60's to the mid 80's before moving to the US. Her dad was a machinist, and was able to bring some tools. He took a job at a company in Elk Grove to ride out until retirement.
