1.5hp 240vdc treadmill motor

Looking for suggestions on a speed controller and ac-dc bridge rectifier to get this motor up and running for my mill head on my centec2.

For best performance you need a torque-compensated speed control like KB electronics KBIC-225
Yes you could run it "open loop"with just a Variac or light dimmer + rectifier but your motor speed would drop under load
