14" circular metal blade

I'd really like to find a domestic saw with a heavy base, but that looks like a stretch....
 
For abrasive saws I like the Milwaukee. The Dewalt is probably fine but I've had problems servicing their products e.g. parts no longer available for a 3 year old table saw, rendering it useless.

For my "Cold cutting saw" I recently changed the blade and tried the Diablo. So far it cuts very well even though it has been pushed pretty hard, including a bout 8 cuts through some 2.5" diameter sold bar and a couple of dozen cuts in some 3"x3"x.25" square tube, but it was all mild steel, for anything hard, I'd use the bandsaw or the abrasive saw.
