My buddy said it ran before he took the carb off to clean it out. I said bring it to work and i will fix it. He said going to try a new plug. I said again bring me the carb. It was a Tecumseh carb. Took the bowl off and everything looked fine. It has a D shaped float and a D shaped bowl bottom. Figured he prob just bolted the bowl on and didn't pay attention to how it should fit. Put it on wrong and the bowl pinches the float. Yup that's what he did. Asked today and he said fired on the first pull. Guess the old man still has it LOL...Bob

howdy neighbor .

lets keep the snow blower talk to a minimum .. maybe if we ignore it the snow will go away .

Bigger problem with snow blowers is the darn alcohol in the fuel. Really messes them up. I've been installing fuel shut off valves for all the neighbors. With the engine running, shut off the fuel and let it run out of gas and die. Mine started up first pull this winter with a little "Stabil" in the gas since last winter.
